Reblog: Novels and fascinating theories

I wish I’d seen this while working on my capstone! Novels and fascinating theories.

When writing her own novel, Sarah Maddox at ffeathers used M. Vera Bührmann’s book, Living in Two Worlds, as a source of information on the relationships between African traditional beliefs and the Western world of science. It’s a very Jungian approach that would have definitely benefitted my paper and just sounds fascinating.

It’s definitely going on my book list.

  1. Hallo Tracy

I’m so glad you found the post interesting! Living in Two Worlds is a fascinating book. Also fascinating is the whole area of traditional healers, and of the attitudes and expectations of the various cultural groups surrounding them.

Thanks for linking to my blog!

    Cheers
